Senz pH Duo is a dual function tester that measures both pH & temperature.
The pH in the water can change overtime. This can be due to an accumulation of waste products, decaying plants, adding of rocks or substrates or even during the different times of the day. Every fish originates from different bodies of water that have differing pH levels. It is thus important and beneficial to monitor and match the pH to your fish. Sudden rapid changes in the pH can be fatal.
Temperature is another important aspect to monitor in the aquarium. Many experts agree that rapid and significant temperature changes, as well as frequent temperature changes throughout the day, are stressful for fish. It affects breeding as well as some fish breed better in warm water while some can be triggered by a drop in temperature.
