i think you will need a finer mesh for the inlet.

will be moving over my fissiden mesh & low grade crs after cycling
internal overflow system tried using washing machine bag from daiso but clog after few hours any suggestion? thanks all |

moved all my fissiden mesh, boraras brigittae and a few cherry shrimp over
added 3 yamato shrimp, hoping it will resolve my hair algae issue |

hmm, can try those fine sponges. but you will have to clean the sponge weekly.
