Betta quirks
Hi everyone! i would like to find out what kind of typical habits/quirks you guys notice and like about the bettas you've kept!
For mine, i notice they love to use leaves as beds or sofas. One fish I had would squeeze onto a money plant leaf right at the water surface to sleep. My copper fancy will sit on anubias leaves, near the bottom of the tank, to chill. Another quirk seems to be squirming through narrow gaps between tank decor, looks like they are doing it for fun! One of my fish will go to the to-be-tunnel or hole and pause, then swim through. He didn't look like he was trying to scratch himself, just self amusement! I'm sure at feeding time some of you have trained your fish to jump or flare for food, or maybe your betta has a fish friend he is not territorial with? Share with me what you've noticed, I'd really like to hear |
