anyone keeping spare return pump?
Hi all, as above.
juz wanna find out how many r keeping extra pumps 4 return as standby in case the 1 in ur sump fails. |

juz wondering, is there really a need to do that? you can get a new pump any day of the week from lfs unless you are using a pump where stock availability is an issue.

if past lfs opening time, go polyart... 24x7 open. if not, next day take mc lor hehehe

So I am the weird guy keeping a spare AquaBee 3000 pump for return as well as for the chiller including Eheim hose, piping, ball valves, etc ....

it might not be a good idea to stop the return from sump for more than 6hrs ..
good bacterial will die off if no oxygen |
