Yup agree, anemone death can cause water to turn milky and ammonia spike may occur. Did ur fishes died after the death of the anemone or the moment u reach home all died liao?

if you can let us know more detail of the incident, we wud b able to help better.

there r so many reasons water can turn milky. remedial measure, ensure the skimmer is working, set it wetter and change 50% saltwater in tank. if u hav snails, they will probably b gone or going too, take them out as they will rot inside thier shells.

the last time my tank became milky was when the anemone got sucked into the powerhead, so check these and take out any remains of anemone in it if any. check also inbetween liverocks and if needed, take them out and rinse them with saltwater.

I'm 95% sure the anemone is the cause of your trouble.

The best course of action would be to change water which you have done so already. Next is to pray hard and hope that the remaining LS would pull through.

Do a test on water parameters, chances are the water is murky due to ammonia spike from the dead anemone. You can continue water changes if the ammonia and nitrite is high. IMO, water conditioners that neutralzie ammonia & nitrite as well as liquid bacteria could be useful in your case.

Pls use a descriptive title for your thread. Do not use "help", "pls help" .. etc.
