Default What is the diet of a 8 inches Aro?

Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question.

What is the diet of a 8 inches Aro?

My aro use to feed about 30 mealworms a day before it fell sick 2 weeks ago. Since recovery, it only eat 8 mealworms a day and only mealworms, for others i tried, eg feeder prawn, red fish, goldfish and superworm don't seems to be interested even if i starve it.

Any comments?

water parameters ..... not check yet, i suspect so! I'm currently in the progress of getting a canister filter from a bro here and is planning to get biohome and test kit from C328 once i get hold of the filter.

Last nite, after giving about 4 mealworms i tried giving a feeder gold fish. Wah lah....surprising my aro wacked it. Tried again this morning but doesn't seem interested.

I'm sure that my aro has recovered from scale rot and cloudy eye.

looks like i have got a lot to learn...........................

Be patient. Just maintain good water parameters & slowly increase the feed.
I learn a lot from Af too & still learning........

Bro, since you aro is eating, why bother to change its diet? When it eat, ppl start to worry that is not enough. When don't eat, ppl start to worry why it don't eat. Bro, in life, already got so many problem liao. Why let your hobby worry you? Hobby should help you to relax to enjoy and not adding stress. Eat a bit is better than not eating anything, right? Slowly la, bro.

My aro is abt 8 inches too.
I feed them with SW.
2 meals per day, per meal 3-4 SW.
