Default Charging R22 chiller

Finally decided to spend some "school fees" to check and charge my DIY chiller.

This is the R22 refrigerant

This is the R22/R134a manifold with sight glass. It shows the pressures of the suction and pressure side. The sight glass allows easy reference for full liquid line.

The pressure readings and temperature will give you clues if your system is functioning properly. Most aircon pple just charge your system based on estimation so the chiller may not be at top performance.

I found out that my chiller is slightly on the low pressure side thus I increased 20psi by adding more R22.
