Schuran Nitratefilter 100
This is the last piece of equipment which will complete the equipment equation for the 3rd 6ft tank.
Here is the box with all the fragile stickers as one of the check-in baggage: |

This Nitratefilter 100 is a biological filgter which can be used in or out-of-sump with the reactor volume capacity of about 2 litres of either sulphur or siporax media for colonization of bacteria to transform nirate into nitrogen.
Opted for the sulphur beads instead of siporax as the sulphur bead is both a nutrient and substrate in one. The filter comes with a Eheim 1250 28W pump and it also requires a feed-pump to draw aquaria water to the reactor. |
