Can this be dip inside the main tank itself instead of the sump? Or is meant to be HOB? Will there be micro bubbles coming out from the outlet? Thanks.

No idea, heard that it is a remodel of the older Comeline , even for 9005 and 9010 models . The DOC skimmer for 9002 is using black plastic material compared to Brown in Comline . Perhaps they have utilize different pump . the pump in 9002 is actually Sicce Nova , the mini Water pump . |

yeah it's a remodel of the comline...so far what i've read is that the 3110/2 used to come fully assembled but they had problems in that during shipping, parts came loose or broke off causing alot of problems. the 9002 is supposed to be easily assembled. also, i've tried finding old 3110 reviews to see if it's worth getting.
But some recent checking at RC shows that some of the 9000 series skimmers have a slight design flaw and they have fed back to tunze which will implement slight design changes in the next release. However i have no idea if 9002 is affected. |
