gill curl
i have a silver about 18" and niticed 1 gill flared open and curled was fine 3 days ago i searched for gill curl and plenty came up but i was forbidden to look at any of them???so heres another thread to ask what to do? and why it happened?

did you check yr ph level ?
maybe you can add airstones into yr tank to improve aeration. |

POOR WATER QUALITY....faster do water change and add some salt will do....increase aeration as well...

there are many possibilities for the caused! maybe is the water condition. maybe lack of oxygen. maybe lack of space. that depend!
at the initial state many will recommend frequent wc and aeration. yes, there is medication for this, got to know this from C328. can try medication plus frequent wc n aeration. hope it will help! |

i have an 85gal (70gal.in) tub 1.5'x4'x1.5' i have 12"airstone bar, ehiem can filter and a power head had been WC 5 gal twice week evry other wk id do 1 10 gal WC. why just one side other side looks perfect??? is that normal?what would this med b called and where to get? using stresscoat w WC. i have malifix also but havent used yet
