Need some recommendation
I'll be buying a camera. Not looking into 2nd hand cameras.
Budget will be not more than $600. I don't want it to be sleek, would prefer something functional. Would love it to be bulky cos I have guy hands, can't hold something small properly. Would be best if it uses AA batteries, so that I don't have to find a place to charge. Zoom will be good if 6X optical or more. I would like to have control over the camera, so functions like aperture priority, shutter priority, manual mode, the more the merrier. Close-up mode is must cos I'll of course be taking pictures of my fishes. I thought about the A700 or A710 IS. What else? |

if you insist of using AA batteries you would have limited choice and cameras using such batteries would not be sleek. might be a little bigger in size. nowadays batteries of digital cameras are quite alright and could last for many shots.
i would recommend fujifilm f30. i have a fujifilm camera f601 and nikon coolpix 5200 and nikon dslr. fujifilm has good cameras make. go to the camera shop and test the various cameras you are keen. look at the picture quality on the spot and compare. but of course, you must like the design and feel of the camera you are buying and of course budget. |
