Default white worms

hi all, seems to see lots of white worms on the glass of my tank. they are full white as long as this letter ( l ) and same thickness. they seem to be all over ....


any advise?
are they safe?
if not how to kill.

4ft x 2.5 x 2.5 ft tank. with OHF and canister
1 HBG, 1 motorro, 1 long tail ray.

i think that they are safe
at least those that appeared in my 2ft tank
maybe do some water change
adding salt did not seem to kill them

for mine i put 2 red feeder fishes into the tank and they ate the worms up within 1 day. yours i not sure. if put feeder fish before they eat the worms they'll be eaten up by the other fishes heh

aro is fine and scales are shiny... normal appitite. i poured in some melafix and immediately saw the worms detached from the glass and running around....

any suggestions

get $3 tiger barbs, they will settle this. During these few days, cut down the feeding of ur aro.

They are called planaria (small white tiny worms all over the tanks). They mutiple due to the unfinished food and they are generally safe to the fishes. However, you will get very "turn-off" at their presence.

A good scrub and WC is a good water to remove some of it. But if your feeding habits persists, they will always come back.

The best solution will be to get a small "fei feng". Try it and let us know whether it works. . Cheers!
