redcross Parazin P medicine

tank was infected with anchor worm and another type of floating thin worm.

introduced Parazin P. after WC and i put in heater.

after 1 day notice anchor worm dissapearing BUT sudden increase in small white "mites" .
its crawling EVERYWHERE, tank wall, base, DW and on the fishes itself. what happen??


i dunno the dosage for Parazin P.
how many tablets for how many days? packaging doesnt state. only write "One Shot" cure


bros/sis who used Parazin P can share experience?

20 tablets (2300 litres), 80 tablets (9200 litres), 200 tablets (22,500 litres)

meaning i add the required dosage and wait for things to happen?

do i need to add another dosage? after how long from 1st treatment?



den wat about the sudden increase in small white "mites". is it the medication or another pest?

Just keep monitoring once dosage is administered.

do i need to add another dosage? after how long from 1st treatment?

I usually leave for 5 days and then do a water change. The last time I used was only 5 days and all the worms are destroyed (for my case).

den wat about the sudden increase in small white "mites". is it the medication or another pest?

Really cant answer your questions here as I never experience this during my treatment for my fishes since the last occasion using this medication.

If my tank got problem like this, I will increase salt to 0.7% & hold until those aw, ww & planarias are gone. No need medication.
What I think is important before salt treatment is to ensure water parameters are tip top & well aerated.
U sure your tank got aw?

When doing water changes, you only need to top up the volume of water change for the dosage of salt right?

Bro 0.7% of salt, if 1000lt tank is 0.7kg or 7kg of salt.?
