Default Need help with my IT

Just bought an IT 2 days back from C328. Size around 9-10"

But the moment i transfer it into my tank, white spots started to show up on its body. . .and below lower jaw got 2 red thing. like pimple like that.

All my fishes/Aros inside are perfectly healthy except this feller.

Did a immediate 40% WC and add salts.

Any idea what to do?

Did u try to aclimatise the fish slowly during transfer? White spots can be a result of a sudden change in temp. Not a crisis, just put white spot medication

More worried abt the red sore. I ever had NTTs that die after developing these sores. I added Melafix,Pimafix...still couldnt bring it back

Mebbe other bros here have better advice?

All the best

I think you spotted my mistake. you may be right. i was too exicted too see my new IT in my tank. . .i just drain out the water from the bag, and then quickly pour in the IT in the tank. . .maybe he suffered from sudden water parameters shock. Learnt my mistakes now.

bro did u quarantine 1st before put into main tank?

for red spot maybe ulcer cause lfs water not gd, can add multicure and it works.

last time i same case, i put IT into tank then next day it whole body white spots, after awhile my whole tank also white spot. its a parasite called ich/ick. best to raise temp to 32deg and add 0.3% salt. do it for a week and all should be fine. normally fishes kana this once only, its like chicken pox, rarely second time unless fishes' immunity is very weak.

hope it helps
