Default Gill Curl on Left Side of Aro

Hi, my RTG has a slight curl gill on the left side while the right side is alright. As this is the first time I am encountering this, I would need some advice. I read that water change and putting salt are methods to improve the situation.

Anyway for me to cure it besides performing an operation? Please advice. Thanks.

not sure what you mean by curling inwards, but the gill is opening in the sense. think it is outwards.
