should be the elephant snail. because it resembles the trunk of an elephant.

nope, this snail is from thailand, common name: pagoda snail, scientific name: brotia pagodula

Think this guy can grow bigger than the normal Ramhorms. Saw quite a few a Y618 few days ago.

Ooh...thanks!! now I learn something. They are bigger than our 20cts coin and I find them cute with their head sticking out thick and meaty. And yes!! I got this from Y618..

By the way, have a good, or maybe bad, news. these snails are vv hard to breed in the aquarium. if i am right, no one has ever bred them before.
Another bad news, these snails are also not easy to keep. heard from most people that they die after half a year. |
