Default Black arowana's

I started with 4 and waited until they paired up and this is my male and female that I have had for almost 5yrs now. I actually ended up having 2 males and 2 females but I kept the best 2.

Tanks 8 feet long so it's doesn't show the entire tank in the picture. I need to remove the driftwood after the indo's are big enough to get away from the rays. They use the wood and pots to hide in. The rays don't seem to mind as long as they are being fed! LOL I just have 6 rays in this tank at the moment. Some of the rays are going into the 520 gallon.

Default Update

Well it's been over 5yrs now and this pair is still going strong! A quick tape measure eyeball and it looks as though they are 28" to 30". Too bad I am into rays as I would probably be able to breed this pair in a tank by themselves! Black arowana enthusiasts enjoy!
