HELP!!! Foreign Object in Arowana's Mouth
Hi I have a 6 feet bare tank with a arowana, 2 rays and 2 sucker fish. Today I discovered that the arowana's mouth cannot close. Upon inspection, I realised there is something inside it's mouth. But I cannot differentiate what it is.
There is basically nothing inside the tank that the arowana can "eat" and get stuck inside the mouth. It looks like a lollipop stick, there is no way a stick as such could get into my tank. I suspect it could be bone. I feed my arowana pellets and market prawns. The last time I fed market prawn was few days back. I tried to reach for my arowana but it refused to go near me. What should I do? How can I get help to remove the foreign object? Thanks in advance.

From the pictures, the foreign object looks like a ray sting.
Bag the arowana using prawn bag and transmore the fella to remove the sting. |

Thanks for the replies.
Yes it is confirmed the spike of a ray though I do not know how it was present in the first place as my 2 rays have spikes on them currently. I removed the spike late last night already. Will post the photos soon. |

Before the old spike from the ray drops, the new ones would be present already! If I'm not wrong haha
