Thanks for all the warm welcoming and the compliments ...
Just to check, will it better / faster to cycle the tank with "used" media ??? Is it safe to put in used media for tank with existing Aro ??? And I would like to apologies here first, as I'm newbie into keeping Aro, I may (for sure, actually) to have LOTS of questions coming ...

Welcome to the Aro keeping, it will be faster to cycle the tank with used media and at the same time pour in new BB.

Sorry to hijack this post, I would just like to ask a question. Is it possible to keep 1 aro in a 4x2x2? Since 3 will outgrow the tank in 6months, will 1 outgrow the tank?

IMHO , at least a 5by2.5by2.5 should suffice for one aro.
For 422 , the width is a little narrow for turning. |

wow..:that's fast! D for gold aro, 422 for 1 pc is still ok if space is a constraint...not every aro will grow to full size wat...depends on their appetite... Quote:
