Think next rd will really be early bird catches the worm + catching the worm(s) with cold hard cash. I'm guessing at least 20% more for those WC BDs cos the demand outweigh supply. Mixture of 40 pcs this rd..........Next one hopefully more!

so when will the price drop back to 5-6 yrs ago?

for me i dont mind waiting. even if its just a very traditional PDR i will still get it. hope that there will b more of such rays n pushing the price of those "low" quality ones down so ppl like me can afford to get them. how i wish i was already working back then when a PDR only cost $350-$400.

i wont say all the nice ones r overseas. just that very little ppl in sg r willing to pay nice price for nice fish. most want cheap n gd. thats why most of the nice fish r found in US, Jap, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc... n now even China. at least u r one of those who manage to get a pair out of this batch.

for a $350 - $400 price range, the global captive breeding population must be very prolific, and the export pipeline out of brazil must be consistent, uninterrupted and sustained..

i don't put much currency on that happening..

er, your last para... you contradicted yourself ma... if singapore not willing to pay, then it's true that nice fish go overseas ma..

hey, there'll always be two sides to the same coin, two ways to see the same thing..

That's why there will always be two sides to any transaction... at any point in time, there will be people taking a view and selling, and others taking the opposite view and buying..

cheers!
