New BD arrivals
A male and female BD bred by Mark H. The larger male BD in front was a captive bred that I picked up a few months ago. They are all eating well and settling in nice.

hey, really cute BDs you got, the spots are so distinctly contrasting white. Need to pump up the smaller female BD now though. nice sand too, what are you using btw, able to share. also, are you from Singapore too?

Thanks, yes I am working on bulking up the female...she eats really well so it should go ok.
The substrate is Caribsea Instant Aquarium - Sunset Gold color. I really like the sand. It has never caused any problems for the rays (it has a freshwater ray on the front of the bag). The manufacturer says it is sage for all soft belly fish species. It is also pre-washed. I am not from Singapore, but I would love to visit sometime soon. I am from Minnesota in the US. |
