Bro, mine BDs not on pellets. I tried feeding to my other fishes and I notice the color change from white to yellowish. It is a mixture of tetrabits and carnivous pellets.

I am also interested to know if pellet works.

I Used to feed alot of carnivore pellets last time. So much so its the main meal and mp is supplement.
But it screws the water much faster tand more expensive.
Wool also change like siaos.
Hearsay too much pellets makes PDR spots more yellowish.

Pellets as main diet, do make the spots off-white. My experience.

Indeed can see slight yellowish now on my ray's spots What's more some of my aros has cloudy eyes now duno if this is be due to the pellets clouding the water or not Going to stop feeding the pellets for a while now and observe...

Interesting to learn that pellets feeding can prolong life span of rays, any gurus like to add to this ? Maybe it's because there are no parasites present in processed food
