Exclamation RARE Freshwater RAY - Marbled Whip ray

Well, most of us are familiar with those rays found in Peru & Brazil, like Motoro, PDR, Tiger, Pearl or Flower ray etc..and some do cost a fair bit.

It is a real surprise for me to find out that there is another freshwater ray.. Under the endangered list that is found closer to home.

In fact, it is native of Asia countries like Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, and Borneo.

It is called Marbled whipray - Himantura oxyrhyncha
