Hi,
Some gill curl may be cause by changing too much water which result in a great change in water parameter. if the owner think is the bad water parameter that cause the gill curl and they change somemore water, this result in worstening the condition. Changing too much water would also result in cloudy eye.

if your arowana have gill curl for the first few days, you can use a power head so that the current can push the gill back to it orginal position.
