My 20inch VFSR passed away.
On Sunday morning earlier today, I've decided to transfer my 20inch VFSR about 2years with me to a pond behind my house. I managed to catch it into a big prawn bag from a 4ft tank and when I was in the process of bringing the bag out from the tank, it suddenly struggle and break through the bag. It felled straight behind my tank.
With the help of my maid, we managed to get it out from the rear of the tank and return it back into the tank. Furthermore I immediately switch the air pump control to full. For a while, the fish looks fine but about and hour later, it turned the other way round. I've tried to rescue it by holding it face downwards to the air bubbles for almost an hour. I can feel that is it breathing but it doesn;t last for long, this maybe due to the impact it might got injured during the fell. What is UNBELIEVABLE & RIDICULOUS to me is that how could a 20inch aros penetrate a big prawn bag which have a thicker layer of plastics. Anyway wat is done could not be undone. I just have to accept it. Thanks to all bros who read my story, I hope this fires up the love and passion we all feel for our arowanas. Last but not least R.I.P to my beloved VFSR. We in the family gonna miz you. God bless. |
