Nothing much to update.
Just finished salt mixing yesterday night and now still cycling. Added medium size coral chips at the sump tank inflow compartment. Also collected a big pail of live sand from a nice bro from SRC. Will be cycling until tomorrow and put in the live sand. |

Bought some dead rock today.
Still figuring out how to scape them. And a little live rock on the live sand. Still in pail. |

For me, rather than cracking my head of a rockscape plan....I always dump in all rocks (live or dead) randomly into the tank first... somehow certain interesting shape of rockscape will form... and then from there I improvise by making few adjustments eg widening hole/cave created unintentionally etc.... u'll be amazed how many combinations u can have

Update on the progress:
Added in live sand just now. Mmmm The problem of using the used live sand is water cloudy... Here is the pic after added in live sand and running with a temporary filter to remove the dirt. And here is the SUPER filter!! After 20 mins, water seems slightly clear. Start scaping! |
