I had seen many rays like Leo Hen, BD Hen, some hybrid, at 12 inches their colour still yellowish, but after they hit 15 and above, surprised that all turned white and based turned black just like black rays.
I must further stressed that diet do affect how the colour going to turn out for hybrid hor, this apply for some black rays as well. Many wont agree and would argue, well up to one to believe. |

Live and frozen food do play a big different. Just feeding one type of food for the rays is actually not encouraged.
