Hozelock
I recently managed to get my hands on the so called "washing machine hose" or Hozelock with the help of a fellow reefer monsterz1975.
When I first saw the hose, I'm quite worried that it would not fit onto the standard 1" grey PVC pipe. The stated diameter of the hose is 25mm but the actual diameter is much smaller. The main benefit of using hozelock is that its very flexible and resistance to bends. Hozelock is also much easier to cut than my old fibre hose. You will need to apply some water and twist the hozelock to fit the standard 1" pipe but once its in, it provided a very tight fit. You wont be able to use any hose clamp on hozelock but 2 cableties should provide the additional safety factor. |

Just wondering if the interior of the hose is smooth or like the surface?
