Discus and some other planted tanks
Got this 3feet curve tank from my uncle who quit his aro hobby took it home put life again to the tank...the flora are only e.tennelus, java moss, java fern and windelov, vallis, bleheri to suit a community of turq discus, cardinals, OTOs, corys, platys and some working shrimps....recently saw a discus pairing up and lay eggs on the surface skimmer and dunno what to do as i have no idea they would pair up as i was told by the ex-owner "they not a pair"....(water condition PH 6.5, KH 2deg, NO heater, temp 28C).......

another 2 feet tank of mine that has been a trial and error, experimented, change this n that, revamped quite a number of time and at last this tank is set up for the upcoming juv turq discus planted tank... not that nice but somehow i feel that most fishes will thrive in a planted Aquarium..

This a revamped from my previous of 10"x5" nano tank....no CO2 & No filter. Just 8 hours 11W lights, few cherries, horn snails, baby platys, mini mosses, long java fern, DW, lapis gravel and few rocks mix all up together and there we go. I find it from all the tanks i own, this is the most easy and good for beginner's to start off with ...the only thing we need to have is clear patience

Nice. What do you feed your discus with. Won't the food gets trap in the gravel?

Nice... Bro, if you trim your java moss more frequently, you can get it to take on a more bushy appearence. It'll look less messy.
