Default Learning how to take good photos

I am using Canon Digital IXUS 55 camera, but I find it difficult to shoot. It turns blur if the target is moving. Not sure how to the camera, any advice?

So far this is the best picture that I took with Canon IXUS 55. It is still blur, unfortunately, I don't have the manual with me.
