Thanks everyone for the various replies. I'm not actually keeping corals, so the high-end lighting isn't really needed. It's just that I noticed my daylights were too yellowish, so the blue FL did reduce that. I'm not sure of the Kelvin rating on my PL daylights though. I just have a feeling that 50-50 PLs may reduce the yellow even further.

how many tubes are u using .....
if u are using only 1 tube then get the 50/50

2 PL tubes, both white currently
