So far some ridiculous jokes i hear is Filefish is reef safe , when it is documented that filefish live among sps and feed on coral polyps.

Another joke , discussed to a LFS owner abt my diatom problems(testing his knowledge), he proudly say cos my phosphate level high , when i say 0ppm , he say my nitrate high , when i say only 10ppm , he say i got no UV , when i say got , he say cos i got no denitrator or good skimmer , when i say both also have , he suck thumb and smile at me.
talking abt diatoms.. why ah? my PO4 and NO3 also ok... but diatoms quite high... silicates ah? I sure got a lot of silicates then.... haha

water circulation is very important, i use to have diatom problems with water parameter reading NH4, NO2, NO3, PO4 all undectectable. I had add more circulation to my tank, its cleared now.

diatoms will grow when circulation in tank is not dictributed evenly. I'm using 2 X return and 1 X 6060, certain part of tank will have sand storm while some r almost stagnant water, u may wan to play with yr 6060 a little while

Aiyah .. just buy me a prata and teh tarik tonite and also lunch or dinner depending on the timing when my diatom filter is "polishing" your tank. It takes about 2 to 3 hours.

Yep .. I bought this directly from US and needs to operate it with an auto-switching power supply as it operates only on 110V.

Got to have this to polish all my tanks otherwise need to change water frequently .... where got time to admire the fishes then.

U will know why I need this diatom filter at the forthcoming BBQ nite.
