but where to find a good amount of pods to start off?

The article didn't seem to specify where to get copepods from, but from the pics my guess is the author used LRs.

When your tank crash(OS crash), its time to cleanup(reformat hard drive) and setup(install OS) again and add new livestock(re-install software).
