Use the FIP or even the Taiwan valve. Cheaper & avaliable at most shop.

For GF, it is the standard that doesn't fit.

Cheers!

Thanks Guys for the info. Went to a few shops "5 gold shop" today. Only find simple pipings but cannot find the kind of valve that stops water from flowing back automatically when pump stops or power cut. Anyone knows where to get?

That is a check valve , note that those PVC check valve sold in hardware shops are from Taiwan with a metal spring inside. salt water+ metal = oxidization?

Check out the check valve sold by www.reefdepot.com.sg under plumbing , alt simply drill a small hole at the pvc outlet slightly below water level , so that when pump stops , hole intake air and breaks siphon.
