Its part of the mandarin family so u probably have to feed it some frozen mysis see if it has any response.IMO,pellets not so fast eat one,make sure they take mysis,pump them up and see if they will accept pellets

I seen them looking thr the sandbed for food. They r a slow eater if i not wrong which will not fright for food.
