Default Denitrator

Hi I'm setting up a marine tank and am wondering whether I should get a denitrator. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Its optional but if you have the budget for one, I would say go for it too. It helps reduce nitrates in the marine tank.

I am just curious. if with the denitrator how long would be the ideal water change?

But bear in mind that this denitrator varying from the hose type, bioball + dennri ball and sulphur bread kick off at a different time. Regular water change is still a must until your denitrator achieves your ideal nitrate level. I would suggest that the starter to do more read-up before you jump into this denitrator. Until you have a better idea of what you want them you start to use it. Cos they do have their disadvantages such as, choking, drop in PH, water flowing to the denitrator, etc.
