Denitrator
Hi I'm setting up a marine tank and am wondering whether I should get a denitrator. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks! |

If you hate changing water .. then go for it.

Its optional but if you have the budget for one, I would say go for it too. It helps reduce nitrates in the marine tank.

But bear in mind that this denitrator varying from the hose type, bioball + dennri ball and sulphur bread kick off at a different time. Regular water change is still a must until your denitrator achieves your ideal nitrate level. I would suggest that the starter to do more read-up before you jump into this denitrator. Until you have a better idea of what you want them you start to use it. Cos they do have their disadvantages such as, choking, drop in PH, water flowing to the denitrator, etc. Last edited by SunnyDay; 26-11-2009 at 11:35 PM. |
