here's the top, comes with net cover (can 'lock' somemore) so can keep arowanas with no worries (but medium ones as small ones may still squeeze thru the gap, although i tried before my aros dun jump as this tank somehow makes any fishes inside very comfortable)..
there're also NAN light clips fixed inside at the top to hold a 4' NAN light... Last edited by ROOT; 11-04-2010 at 12:33 PM. |

here is a pic of the top filter - 4 compartments but the centre cannot put too much (u can if you want i guess but i don't) because that's where the water flows back into main tank, but the other compartments are large enuff to put sufficient media...

this is the original design of the flow back into the tank, but it is too noisy for me for 1 reason... maybe my pump too powerful..
another reason is i felt the filteration is not as good (flow back from middle) than if the water is flowing back from the opposite side of the pump (i may be wrong).. but if you have a small powerhead in tank or wave maker than could be fine.. but still can use back anytime, just have to put a cap on the pipe opening which i made: i re-channelled the water flow back into tank with piping, so now water flowing back is diagonally opposite the pump.. |

FGT (EXT at widest point, bec the top has a little lip thingy): Length - 59" Breadth - 30" Height - 29.5" Wooden Stand: Height - 12" Foam - 2" thickness Filterbox (EXT dimensions): Length - 56" Breadth - 12" Height - 10" (this is the height which sits above the tank height, there's about 2" recessed within the top of tank Wraparound is not ceramics nor foam, feels like fibreglass to me...
