Just like the L. signatus, these two species are also called mud spawners. They actually dig a cave or a hole down into the substrate.
Males are slightly larger than the females when fully grown. The females have an oscillated spot(s) on their dorsal, while the spot on the males tend to fade away or disappear as the fish matured.

Woah I've learnt something new today, Mud Spawner. Have you experience their spawning behaviour already? If yes, do they breed in shells or on substrate?

Yes managed to spawn them once.
Unlike most shellies, they will pile sand on top of the shell, totally burying it and leave only a small opening for access.
The eggs are deposited inside the shell, and the fries are really tiny when hatched.

Last but not least, the golden ocellatus.

One of the most common and beautiful of the shelldwellers, they also comes in a variety of forms. There is the beautiful gold variant, down to a muddy, brown shade which is the most common. There is also a "blue" type, so named cos of the blue sheen on its body.
