read about alot how MS break tank on the web, and it mostly because it burrows --> need to protect tank bottom.

Did you have to change home for your MS because of this?

it depends you are keeping smasher or slasher type of mantis.

smasher u need to have cave like rock formation for hiding, and slasher u need deep sand bed for burrows

Hi Guys,

Finally got my peacock mantis from Coral Farm at LCK over the weekend, my friend from reservist days are managing the farm.

Have got an orange sponge, 1 fern and 2 stones of red bamboo algae in the tank.

Fed it 1 FW ghost shrimp (didn't not survive 30s) and 1 small crab. Mantis rip out one pincer and the last i saw, the crab is left with other pincer and trying to hide from mantis.

Definitely an interesting creature!

Anyone like to share their interesting experience with mantis as well?
