*hands up*

i will often quote a 50% off the original price and maybe round down to a "better" amount comfortable to her lol. She follows me to LFS hopping previously so roughly she has a gauge of the retail prices. Hard to smoke her.

Once heard of this guy who also under-quote the price of all his expensive collection to wife. Came back from biz trip and wife told him she accidentally messed up the tank and all the fishes died. He was very sad. Wife passed him $50 and say "don't be sad, I compensate you"

I am quite lucky.. my wife only limit the no of tanks and also I must keep them neat but not the fish I buy.
