Lol no sifu...just layman breeding....just watch when during chase, the ranchus suddenly stop chasing and start putting their head to the tub floor...that is the clearest sign to start handspawning and the highest chance of optimal fertility.

The reason is female once ready to disperse the eggs will only do so when the eggs are "ripe" and ready to be fertilized and will start spraying when males start nudging their anus area. The head to tub floor is a sign that eggs are already dispersed by female and the ranchus are trying to eat the delicious eggs
