Following are couple of observations when I laid tiles in my tank:
1. Overall size must cater to include the silicon at the tank base, else they wun seat flatly 2. After some time, food and/or debris will accumulate beneath the tiles. Not sure if good or bad, but it became a hassle to syphon those debris Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk |

Why not use acrylic, custom cut size n safe for fish. Can lay with water n fishes in, not ex. Did mine years back, there was a thread on this...try search in water maintenance section.
