And students today and yester-years are different and harder to manage. Nothing unknown or just gossip news site news. |

How or will it work, I think it should be something good for soon to be parents. Any parents of a newborn will welcome any additional leaves, even if it means unpaid once they exhaust their entitlements.
If we look at the current paid maternity leave structure, 16 weeks + 2 weeks (likely dad) + 2 weeks (1 each), and 2 weeks unpaid (1 each), that 2 weeks unpaid would have exhaust quite a bit of their annual entitled leaves. Once a person runs out of entitled leave, will the company allow them to take unpaid leave? So this pilot leave scheme is actually something good. |

Don't think so one needs to clear all leaves before taking this unpaid leave, as on and off the new born will need to see doctor for inoculation, examination, etc.........but it's a good start for the newly weds.......
