Quite simple ma.....just use hose to suck em out...thats how i change my gravel...use the siponing effect....suck alittle at a time.....u can do in parts during weekly water changes..by the 3rd or 4th water change...bottom should be bare already...just make sure ur outlet of the hose leads into a pail and not the floor......pretty simple.

Whats the colour of Dennerle quartz bro? Black? Not cheap rite? Wont the edges be too sharp?

i got my black gravel from forumer here, also not reflective but not the super black color type.

the tank too low liao... will take very long... i also use this method to suck out the sand from the pervious 3ft to transfer over to this 5ft.. this method easy n wun scratch tank base...

they got black, grey and funyn colour like YELLOW!
but in sg i only seem black ones before.

I prefer grey or brown..
