nope.. I'm not so easily poisoned.. me always on MOPP 4 suit..need special type of poisoning agent then can pass through..

anyway..I kept them before liao. So won't be setting up an EE tank anytime soon.
but if really set up..then will go for this Gymnogeophagus balzanii

i think such quality are hard to come by. Mine is yellowish and the colour seems very washed out. Maybe the pic u shown, is a wild specimen bah.

wild or not..I dunno..hehe
FYI.. that pic was taken randomly from google image.. The exact source is from fishbase.org..dunno uploaded by who I also dunno..hehe

but the main idea in my previous post was to direct and shift some attention to this Gymnogeophagus group.. as I noticed the few active bro/sis here haven't been discussing much/awared of the above mentioned group.. hehe

I had the opportunity to keep 3 small ones a few years back.. however, due to my inexperience..they didn't last long and fell ill under my care.
Like their cute rounded head.. hehe

Anyway, perhaps you might help by taking some photos of urs and share with us

If I remember correctly, those few big ones I saw in aquastar many months ago.. looks something like the pic posted above.. (maybe not 100% match lah.. hahaa)
Btw, that 1 in pic looks stressed.. maybe is stress coloration??
