Sorry the bubbles blocking... nice kohaku & showa

Same kohaku as above

One of the casualties that I came across...

That's all folks! Sorry not very comprehensive coverage cos the small fish in vinyl bags hard to take pics & the big fish were being judged into the afternoon and by the time judging had finished, they announced for de-benching. So not much time to shoot much pics.

Your photos are better than nothing. Really sad that it was bench out time when the judging was finished. There isn't sufficient time to open up the area to the public to appreciate the beauty of the bigger fishes.

yah, we waited so long to go in and see the big ones then suddenly announcement for debenching... actually we sneaked in towards the end of judging when we saw others sneaking in, otherwise I wont even get any shots!

Comparing this show to the earlier koi show at the old turf club, there is significantly less judges in this young koi show. Only 3 local judges to judge all fishes from 15 bu to 65 bu (including the selection of GC). The earlier koi show at old turf club, I saw like two groups of judges doing the judging. I believed the smaller number of judges slowed down everything and thus the judging end late.
