Light brown or cream is the piece next to white? The piece with led light reflecting above ?

Yes thats the one. In fact they have other colours but i did not snap pics of those samples. I took this pic when the salesperson was keying in my purchase details. I wanted to snap a pic for future reference.

mine also silicon with slight slope... I thought it will not hold the acrylic cos of the silicon as it is not possible for the edge of the acrylic to touch close to the edge of the bracing...

The gap is negligible. Dont worry about the gap. Just measure your entire base and minus 10mm. You need this 10mm for you to lift up your acrylic in future. With this, the issue of the silicon slope is eradicated.

I just set up a new 3ft tank so will be headin down to Dama tomorrow to get beigh colour acrylic base. After i do it, will post the dimensions of a standard 3x1.5x1.5.
