Based on my previous experience, they don't do well when they were isolated in the early stage. However, it seems like I have no choice as the male had abandon (not guarding them) the fries in day 2, so I guess I have no choice but to pick them up and raise them in seperately.

Last 6 fries from the first batch (not including the largest 3) - currently abt 110mm and 30mm wide. |

I have started those 1 wk old fries on tubifex today and they are doing pretty well. also.... See what I've found in morning pix a little "foggy" due to the condensation on the len when I pulled the cam out fm an air-con room. The spawn site - abt 2ft by 2ft. |

They are gentle species... but see how he responded when I tried closing in
