TBH, 1 bag of sand takes about 10~15 mins for me......1 rinse 12 times, then let it run with water for 5 mins. Yea for those big tanks it takes more time as more bags of sand are needed though. I'm sure my 5ft tank has about 80~100kg of sand now atm. |

Haha....I always had to flatten back the sand for those cichlids that mess it up during my WC regime. Shellies tanks easy to flatten but those bigger tangans that dig deep and spit out/create a huge mountain in the front of the tank hence blocking our view is NOT much tolerated....resulting me to re-do scape if they continuously do that every time.
