Only way can identify fries accurately is thru the breeder itself.....else all look almost similar. That's the problem with buying fish from 328 lo....they sometimes doesn't really care/know the breed/variants of TANGANS.

Ikola seems to be the closest I can find online. Thanks CCT.
Bought 5 fries which looked the same. Bring home put in tank, all 5 change pattern. I got one with stripes all over, two with red base, one yellow stripe (attached) and the smallest one with very faint orange spot.Let them grow a few more inches and then try IDing again ..... Provided they don't ka jiao my shellies too much. Impulsive purchase lol. Normally I hardly buy fishes from C328 cause most don't look well kept especially their tanga tanks. However today, these buggers kept "glass surfing" and caught my attention. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Recently 328 stock up lots of red moliro...the strip ones do u see redish fin? The other one looks like ikola or could be pemba if whole body is pitch dark.

Haha I agree with wildbear, the strip one if with red fin is highly possible as moliro, the 2 red base one confirm is. Yellow defiantly is ikola and faint orange maybe Bemba do you see yellow? If you see maybe hybrid of ikola and Bemba. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
